The Practice - Payment Arrangements
At our specialist dermatologist practice, we strive to make consultations and treatments as accessible and transparent as possible. Below you’ll find important information regarding payment and medical aid arrangements.
Medical Aid and Billing Information
We are contracted with Discovery Medical Aid, and the KeyCare Specialist agreement. This allows qualifying Discovery members to consult with our dermatologist under agreed-upon specialist rates.
Please note:
We are not contracted into any other medical aids at this time. Patients belonging to other schemes will be required to settle their accounts in full on the day of consultation.

Our dermatologist practice accepts the following forms of payment:
- Cash
- Debit Cards
- Credit Cards
Reimbursements for Non-Discovery Members
Patients not on Discovery Medical Aid will receive a comprehensive statement, which includes ICD-10 diagnosis codes and procedure/treatment codes.
This statement can be submitted to your medical aid for reimbursement. Please note that the reimbursement amount varies depending on your medical aid provider and plan. We recommend contacting your scheme directly for clarification on claimable amounts and reimbursement timelines.
The Practice

We are not contracted into any other medical aids. Patients are to settle their accounts on the day of consultation.
The practice accepts cash, debit cards, credit cards.
All cash patients will be provided with a detailed
statement that includes ICD 10 codes of the conditions and treatment codes, which can be used to claim back from their respective medical aids. Please note the amount that will be reimbursed will differ per medical aid scheme. Patients are encouraged to contact their medical aids directly for these amounts or other reimbursement queries.
